Responsible for general business administration, process development and licensee partner program advancement; Jeff brings 37 years of business experience to the ASTEC team.  He is developing new business opportunities and market models for ASTEC to enable the company to leverage core strengths in related business activities. He will be working hard to build our capabilities to be ready when the market opportunity presents itself, whether that is in the Safety Training, Equipment or Service areas.

Vice President, Service & Safety Rentals

After 5 years of employment in the service division with the ASTEC team, Vern moved into the role of Manager of Service & Business Development as of May 1, 2013. With over 25 years of management experience in sales, customer relations and retention, fit testing, high pressure hydro testing, personal monitor repair and being an extinguisher technician, Vern brings a lot of qualified and diverse experience to continuing ASTEC’s success. He is a valued member of ASTEC’s Leadership Team.

Grant Klippenstein
Vice President, Business Relations

Grant has just rejoined ASTEC to lead the customer satisfaction and growth initiatives. Acknowledged as one of the most qualified Fall Protection Specialists in Canada, Grant works alongside his clients looking for the best in industrial safety equipment, sales, rentals and training. A dedicated professional who has invested a considerable portion of his career to safety, he is a super resource to bring into your organization to certify your Fall Protection equipment, talk about eyewear, test hearing protection, or review your breathing apparatus, gas monitor & detection needs.

As  a member of ASTEC’s leadership team, Grant will lead the charge in marketing & sales for the Lloydminster office, while supporting the good work being done in the Bonnyville and Provost ASTEC offices.

Amanda Wakefield

 Amanda Unrau
Manager, Finance

Amanda joined the ASTEC SAFETY family in 2007. She started as a Training Coordinator in the Bonnyville branch location, quickly becoming Branch Administrator. In August of 2009, Amanda was offered a transfer to Head Office in the role of Accounts Payable/Inventory Control. In 2010, she took on the role of Assistant Controller/HR Assistant. In 2012, she was voted Employee of the Year by her fellow coworkers. Amanda is now the Manager Finance/HR Manager and a member of ASTEC SAFETY’s Leadership Team.
