Dan LoewenDan Loewen
Senior Safety Instructor

Dan has rejoined the professional instructor team at ASTEC SAFETY after gaining management experience in the municipal sector. Prior to that, Dan could best be described as an entrepreneur, owning and operating a trucking firm and an industrial safety training organization. He has extensive experience as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician and is often called upon to diagnose and assess the rolling stock at ASTEC. During his previous tenure with ASTEC he travelled extensively throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan, which prepared him for his current commute from the Battleford Region (where he maintains a ranch), to Lloydminster. Dan is accredited to teach a wide range of safety courses, is involved in the review and refreshing of courses at ASTEC and is actively seeking new courses we can bring to our customers. Over time, Dan will be working on expanding our presence in the important oilfield sector east of Lloydminster through to the Battlefords. When Dan is not working here at ASTEC he can be found supporting his family and their passion for rodeo and the western lifestyle.
