This course is recognized by Alberta & Saskatchewan O. H. & S. as the minimum training requirement for a Standard First Aider (Alberta) and/or a Class A Attendant (Saskatchewan) as defined in the Regulations, and is intended for anyone who does not have immediate access to emergency medical services. Students in this course will learn artificial respiration as well as how to deal with choking; shock; unconsciousness; severe bleeding; head and spinal injuries; and fractures of the upper and lower limbs. Also included is Level ‘A’ CPR (one-rescuer, adult casualties).
