RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: PPE WORKPLACE SAFETY ONLINE COURSE OVERVIEW

This online course helps learners recognize and respond to respiratory hazards, including atmospheres immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). This course covers the key elements required by OSHA for respiratory protection training.

After completing this course, learners will be able to:

• Define personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Recognize respiratory safety hazards
• Explain why a medical evaluation is necessary
• Select appropriate PPE for respiratory protection
• Evaluate a respirator seal for fit
• Follow proper maintenance procedures

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: PPE WORKPLACE SAFETY ONLINE COURSE DURATION: Approximately 75 minutes

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: PPE WORKPLACE SAFETY TESTING: Testing conducted in this online Respiratory Protection: PPE Workplace Safety course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: PPE WORKPLACE SAFETY CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available to download and print.
